Frostgrave Terrain Board DIY WIP

Just a quick post for my own Frostgrave project, before the Colonel Bills post self-publishes in 10 minutes time.

I've now built enough ruined terrain pieces to fill my 39" x 30" board. Some are still to finish off being built, and then a number of them require painting. Its been a bit of a slog building them all, but now that the end's in sight I'm hoping to get the impetus to finish this project off.
Cheers,
Roy

    1. @Gordon Richards: I hope so, as I'm sick of making the stuff to be honest :)

  2. What a lot you've managed to cram into such a small area. Some very interesting pieces there too.

    1. @Zabadak: Yes, I think crammed is the fitting choice of word :)

I'm not sure if I like it, as its hardly aesthetically pleasing. But, if it works in-game to block line of sight and missile fire, then I can't complain.

  3. Great looking table and plenty of scope for sneaking about, first real game coming up and your table has provided plenty of ideas for the layout.

    1. @Stuart S: Thank you.

I don't know if what I've created will hinder mine and my opponent's games, to be honest. I've spoken with a few other players, and one chap tells of his games being dominated by what he calls "machine gun wizards and warbands" (with magical and weapon missiles being fired at any miniature foolish enough to be out in the open). Whereas mine, and my opponent's playing style is more close-combat orientated and search and steal the treasure. Time will tell, as they say.
